John R. Evans of Madison, Wisconsin passed away on October 15, 2026. John, born on September 23, 1948 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans and Kathy Evans; his wife Deborah Rychlowski; and his son John Gilbert Evans. He is survived by: his children, Anne, Jane, William, James and Mary. He is also survived by extended family members; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (602 Everglade Dr, Madison, WI 53717). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
