He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur C. Tews and Miriam Tews (Veeder); and his sister Harriet Tews. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Kring; his daughter Anne (Bill Gardner); his grandchildren, Glen and Brooke Gardner; and his siblings, Barbara Olson and Thomas Tews. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace, the First Unitarian Society or Oakwood Lutheran Home.
