We announce the death of Joyce J. Amorde Brown in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 86. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Amorde and Ellen Amorde (Johnson); her husband Thomas Brown; her granddaughter Holly Payas; and her siblings, Alice Baski, William Amorde and Richard Holm.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Brown (Debbie), Susan Wedvick (Steven), Jeffrey Brown (Joanne) and Sandra Payas; her close friend Gary Hendrickson; and her brothers, Eugene Amorde and Richard Amorde. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Gardens, Madison, at 3 p.m. Memorials in Joyce's honor may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
