She was predeceased by: her husband Duane James Klute; her parents, Howard Nedderman and Evelyn Nedderman; her sister Jane Peterson; her nephews, Michael Peterson and Tim Klute; and her great grandchild Cadillac Custer.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Klute, Kim Custer (Perry), Kevin Klute (Ada), Michelle "Chel" Buttchen (Brian) and Tracy Klute (Shel). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephew.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Park Glen Commons (201 N Walbridge Ave, Madison, WI 53714).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
