It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Severn Turner of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Haugen and Gladys Haugen (Reine); her husband James Turner; her sisters, Ann Hoel (Wesley), Darlene Lakotos (Andy) and Martha Olson; her daughter Jill Cole; and her son-in-law Randall Tharp.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Tharp, Julie Klaeser (Chris) and Jack Turner (Beth); her grandchildren, Christiaan Turner (Paige), Cherith Breckan (Justin), Tyson Tharp (Samantha), Tiffany Garmon (Jason), Turner Cole (Chelsea), Calvin Klaeser and Penelope Klaeser; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Luke, Audrey Turner, Jaxon, Britta Breckan, Tyla, Tytus, Tyson, Talulah Tharp, Azalee, Adalyn, Magnolia, Mathis Garmon and Mason Cole.
