Judith Whiting Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Whiting (Madison, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Nelson and Leona Van Nelson (Raymaker); her husband Dean Whiting; her parents-in-law, Leno and Ivy Whiting (Fuller); her sisters, Mary Pittler, Linda Van Nelson and Nancy Van Nelson; and her in-laws, Richard Pittler, Diane, Joe Mendolla, Janice and Marv Delvaux.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Hafeman (David), Vickie Lindemann (Scott) and Jenny Whiting-Dennis (Bill Dennis); her grandchildren, Tyler Rowin (Betsy Alland), Kaitlyn Peters (Matt), Diana Rowin, Nathan Hafeman (Hannah Mirabal), Danielle Maggio and Will Dennis; her great grandchildren, Landon Henning and Mason Peters; her brothers, Bill Van Nelson (Cheryl), Tom Van Nelson (Carol) and Jim Van Nelson; and her in-laws, Leon Whiting (Chris), Sharon Van Lanen, Cindy Brazeau (Jim) and Debbie Whiting (Dan Lequia). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the CST St. Peter Catholic Church (5001 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
