She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Anderson and Estelle Anderson; and her sister Marjorie. She is survived by: her husband Charles S. Thompson; her children, Emily Bouska (Mike) and Scott Thompson (Linda); her grandchildren, Nick, Alex, Katie and Ryan; Emily and Scott.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society or the charity of one's choice.
