He was predeceased by: his parents, Martina Hammersley (Miller) and Fay Hammersley, Jr.; and his brothers, Jim and David Hammersley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hammersley; his children, Nathan Hammersley and Shana Schwarz (Hammersley); his grandchildren, Jacob, Jack, Annabelle and Matthew; his siblings, Mary Disch (Chuck), Doris Jenni (Dan), Patricia Gullickson and Richard Hammersley; and his in-laws, Joan (Bob), Karen (Dan), John, Mary, Patti (Dave) and Judy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
