He is survived by: his daughter Sonja Gilbertson; his grandchildren, Shelby and Ryder Falkenstein; his siblings, Debra Brewster, Jodi Gillingham (John) and Paul Gilbertson; his uncle James Stout; and his aunt Sara Hicks (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
