She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Beckwith and Donna Beckwith (Fleischer); her former husband Abel Villarreal, Jr.; and her sister Sandra Tupper. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Villarreal (Diana), Joshua Villarreal (Michelle) and Jeremiah Villarreal (Megan); her grandchildren, Korin, Erin, Sean and Alaura; and her siblings, James Beckwith (Kay), Ronald Beckwith, Steven Beckwith (Terri), Tammie Faul (Brian), Cary Beckwith, Michael Beckwith and Brian Beckwith. She is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations be gifted in Laurie's name to Agrace HospiceCare.
