She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlin Schwarze and Bernice Schwarze (Hintz); her husband John W. Gullixson; and her brothers, Lynn and Vern Schwarze.
She is survived by: her children, Kirsten Ma, Kari Gullixson, Lisa Chen and Jon Gullixson; her sisters, Ardith Fischer and Marion Szep; her in-laws, Luanne Schwarze, Frank Szep, Ann Laudon and Walt Laudon; and her grandchildren, Charlotte, Masa, Mika, Noa, Sophie and Andrew. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Public Radio, Agrace HospiceCare, Wisconsin State Rosemaling Association, Vesterheim or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
