The family announces the passing of Liz Ann Braun (Madison, Wisconsin) on September 11, 2026. Liz Ann, born on June 18, 1953, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Lorenz and Patricia Lorenz; and her mothers-in-law, Janice Braun and Ruth Vollrath Braun. She is survived by: her husband Dan Braun; her son Brian; her daughter-in-law Michelle; her sisters, Maureen Koenig (Dale) and Patricia "Bo" Lorenz-Meyer (Steve); her father-in-law John Braun; and her in-laws, Debbie Anders (Don), Bob Braun (Maggie), Dave (Gina), Ellen Vollrath (Musanda) and Carl Vollrath (Lynn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. Bernard Parish Center (2438 Atwood Ave, Madison, WI 53704). A Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
