It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Schaefer (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Schaefer and Margaret Schaefer; and her brothers, Jim and Mark Schaefer. She is survived by: her daughter Meagan McAdams (Sam); her stepdaughter Whitney Abbott (David Duff); her stepgrandchildren, Sloan and Camila; her siblings, Joan Schaefer, John Schaefer (Sandi), Mary Gagan (Patrick) and Sharon Schaefer; her siblings' children, Lesley Koth (Ben), Jared Schaefer (Susan), Aaron Schaefer (Melissa), Luke Schaefer (Jasmine), Mallory Gagan (Joe Olson), Matt Gagan (Anne) and Jim Gagan (Starr Beckman); her close friends, Connie Daering and Jamie Murray-Branch (Brian); her pet Auggie; and also, Justin, Charmaine and Sarah.
In lieu of flowers, Mickey wishes instead for donations of any size that will go to Shelter From the Storm, where she volunteered.
