It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Fast in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Melissa departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Melissa. Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her mother Gail Aldridge (Lemberger). She is survived by: her son Dylan Shelby (Ellie); her father Malcolm "Mick" Aldridge III; her sisters, Jessica Niemann (James) and Lisa Aldridge-Timmerman (Brad); her nephews, Aiden and Brody Timmerman; and her former husbands, Richard "Rick" Fast and Joel Shelby. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (2705 Regent St, Madison, WI 53705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The River Food Pantry in Melissa's honor.
