He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Rice and Rachel Rice (Joyce); his wife Sharline Spurley; and his siblings, Bill, Richard, Jerry (Jan), Maureen Mooney (Tom) and Teresa.
He is survived by: his sons, Brad Rice (Dana) and Jim Wade (Doris); his grandchildren, Josh (Beth), Jenna, Amanda (Zach), Mitchell (Kelsey), Austin and Brandon (Haley); and his siblings, Diane Anderson, Donna Holz, Tom, Pat (Carol), Mary Dana (Steve), Dan (Sandy) and John (Rita). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
