Philip J. Dzick Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip J. Dzick of Madison, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Philip find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dzick and Ethelind Dzick (Jersild); and his brother Reverend Peter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (312 Wisconsin Ave, Madison, WI 53703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church, Bethel Horizons or the University of Wisconsin Band would be a fitting recognition of Phil's interests.
