He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Sweeney; and his son Andrew. He is survived by: his son John Schoech; his siblings, Tom Schoech of St. Louis, Missouri, Jeanette Vogrin of Shorewood, Illinois and Angela Coward (Tom) of St. Louis, Missouri.; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Onderisin (Bret), Nicole Vogrin, Becky Abernathy (Ryan), Dan Asin (Jess Newton) and Sam Asin.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Luther Memorial Church (1021 University Ave, Madison, WI 53715). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
