He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Horstmann and Anna Horstmann (Ribbke); and his siblings, Syvilla Rego, Anita Schepp, Carl Horstmann, Jeanette Ninnemann, Herman Horstmann, Roy Horstmann, Ellen Smallwood and Glenda Horstmann.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Webb Horstmann; his children, Kristin Oehrlein (Craig) and Ryan Horstmann; his grandsons, Nicholas Oehrlein and Alexander Oehrlein; and his siblings, Henry Horstmann (Gloria), Lila Shimniok and Loretta Henry (Jerry). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Church (7564 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53718). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM and from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
