He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Schears and Margaret Schears (Pater); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Donald, Jerry Schears and Diann Linke (Dennis).
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Schumacher (Stephen) of Malone, WI, Mark Schears (Laurie) of Mequon, WI, Randall Schears (Cheryl) of Deerfield, WI and Rhonda Bunyan (William) of Middleton, WI; his grandchildren, Matthew (Katie), Mitchell and Stephanie Schumacher; his children, Steven (Katie), Julie Boucher (Chris), Brian (Lauren), Michael Schears, Nevaeh Schears and Anna Bunyan; his siblings, Joann (Jerry Neumann) of Waupun, Jermaine Schears (Rose) of Beaver Dam, Milton Schears, Will Schears and Larry Schears (Charlotte) of Waupun; and his sister-in-law Linda Schears. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
