She is survived by: her children, Pam, Ken and Judy (Armelin); her grandchildren, Danielle and Mike Gritzenbach; her great grandchildren, Jameson, Haleigh and Olivia; her nephews, Mike (Penny McNamara) and Bill (Kelly McNamara); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Connor, Kayla McNamara and Kerry Dalton (Sean); and her granddaughter Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, the Manson Lake Association, or Messiah Lutheran Church.

“Loved Rita! What a SPIT FIRE she was and a great friend of Mom's! Even though they were only friends for 3 1/2 years, they definitely bonded! Cribbage was the game that started that great friendship. Heaven is in for a treat with her! Fiesty and Spirited was how she always came across. Always made me smile when I saw her. Deepest condolences to the family and especially to Pam and Ken who were always visiting her. Grateful for the friendship!”
