He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Conway and Lucy Walker Conway; and his siblings, Joe, Don, Fritz Conway and Margaret Bongard.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Boyd; his son James Conway (Trisha); his grandchildren, Angus Willis, Haley Blair (Miguel) and Andrew Conway; his great grandchild Ella Blair; his siblings, Patrick Conway (Barbara), Dorothy Reichling, Mary Harrington and Delores Conway; and his sister-in-law Barbara "Bobbi" Conway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dennis Church (505 Dempsey Rd, Madison, WI 53714). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Dennis Catholic Church (505 Dempsey Rd, Madison, WI 53714). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Dennis Church (505 Dempsey Rd, Madison, WI 53714). A Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
