He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lee Shaw and Agnes Barman; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Hope Trainor; his siblings, Culleen Peterson, Carol Peterson and Vernon Shaw; his half-sister Jodene Napstead; and his in-laws, Antoinette Feldbrugge, Elizabeth O'Leary, Joseph Trainor, Ronald Trainor and Patricia Hanson.
He is survived by: his stepfather Joseph Nelson; his sons, Todd Shaw (Deborah), Chad Shaw (Desiree) and Robin Shaw; his grandchildren, Alexander Shaw (Emily), Brittany Shaw and Kenna Shaw; and his great grandchildren, Quinn Shaw and Archer Shaw. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
