He was predeceased by: his parents, David Freeborg and Gladys Freeborg (Rudeen); his siblings, Roger Freeborg and Carolyn Krupke (Freeborg); his wife Alice Packer Freeborg; and his stepsons, Dan Packer and Mike Packer.
He is survived by: his sons, John Freeborg (Mary Jo) and David Freeborg (Maureen); his former wife Mae Freeborg (Urban); and his stepchildren, Rick Packer (Julie), Brian Packer, Nancy Hardman (Packer) and Carol Prindle (Packer).
