She was predeceased by: her parents, William Knickmeier and Burdean Knickmeier; and her husband Gordon Hermsdorf. She is survived by: her children, Duane Hermsdorf (Carol) and Dean Hermsdorf; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Tara), Chad (Heather), Joshua (Kayla) and Emma Hermsdorf (Brent Hopp); her great grandchildren, Addison, Cayden, Brayden, Riley, Kennedy and Brady; her sister Norma Hanson (Gary); and her sisters-in-law, Janet Koch and Lillian Hermsdorf (John Clayton). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Cottage Grove Cemetery Association or Hope Lutheran Church Women.
