Ruth Gertrude Meier Schoenwetter Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2026, at the age of 90, Ruth Gertrude Meier Schoenwetter of Madison, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman E. Meier and Gertrude M. Meier Watson; and her husband Charles D. Schoenwetter. She is survived by: her children, Lisa D. Schoenwetter (KelsyAnne Schoenhaar) and Kurt D. Schoenwetter (Cindy Adams Schoenwetter); and her grandchildren, Paula Wermich, Adam Schoenwetter, Sarah Schoenhaar and Kristi Schoenhaar.
