He was predeceased by: his grandfather Eugene Pletzer. He is survived by: his parents, Joel Dyer and Melissa Dyer (Pletzer); his sisters, Jillian Dyer and Hannah Dyer; his grandmothers, Dorothy Pletzer and Lisa Dyer; his uncle Matthew Pletzer; his aunt Michelle Cullum (Kyle); and his cousins, Prema, Isaac, Eli, Kyrie, Ashlynn and Noelle. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Breakthrough T1D Wisconsin Chapter and the Samuel Dyer Memorial Scholarship, founded by his parents and coworkers to support students at Madison College who share Sam's passion for the outdoors and are studying in the Tree Care Technician program.
