She was predeceased by: her parents, Achiel Durmen and Mary Van Durmen of Mishawaka, Ind.; and her husband George Kauffeld. She is survived by: her brother Achiel "Bob" Van Durmen, Jr.; her sons, Jeffrey, Jason (Giselle), Trevor (Beth) and Christopher (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Madeleine, Owen, Evan, Abigail, Ashna, Isabel and Chancellor.
