She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Sr. Murphy and Dee Murphy (Russell); her husband Keith E. Yandell; her son Eric Yandell; her brother J. Patrick Murphy, Jr.; her grandmothers, Zella Grant and Carmen Russell; and her in-laws, Phil and Velma Yandell.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Karen Yandell, Merritt Yandell of Madison and K. David Yandell (Julie) of Wausau; her grandsons, Steven Yandell (Meghan Baynes) of Chicago and Patrick Yandell of Matawan, NJ; her sister Colleen Strait (Gary) of Shelby, MI; her nieces and nephews, Sarah Zachmann of Howell, MI, Rebecca Murphy of Roseville, MI, Nick Strait (Sara) and Zack Strait (Lindsay Williams) of Muskegon, MI; her pets, Barley, Ahsoka, Biscuit and Strudel; and her caregivers, Jen and Nate. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Madison (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705). A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
