He was predeceased by: his parents, C. D. Boone and Vera Jane Boone (Gentry). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boone (Boring); his children, Sherry Whitt (John) and Jeff Boone (Ellice Lee); and his grandchildren, Laura Whitt and Ian Whitt.
