He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther E. (Florence A. Holmgren) and Stephen; and his sister Marta Fitzwilliam (Jeffrey). He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Bulman (Richard), Ann Houston and John Holmgren (Marge); his children, Meredith Holmgren (Anders Pedersen) and Peter Holmgren (Kristin); his former wife Doreen Adamany; and his grandchildren, Narelle and Everett Holmgren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care - Madison (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
