He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dushek and Lorraine Dushek (Nilles); his brother Peter Dushek; his parents-in-law, Robert and Joan; and his brother-in-law Keith Krull.

He is survived by: his wife Laurie (Bald); his daughters, Brittany Bowar (Ryan) and Christina Anchondo (Luis); his grandchildren, Antonio, Aiden, Alayna, Ava and Arlene; his pet Freckles; and his sisters, Mary Hedrick (Stan) and Gina Krull.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Steve's name to the Dane County Humane Society or to a charity of choice.
