She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Ricca and Jeanne Mieras Ricca; her brothers, John Ricca and Greg Ricca; her close friend Chuck Broad; her children, Jonathan and Jennifer Broad; her daughter-in-law Colleen Butler; her grandson Ray Broad; and her husband Chuck Broad.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Madison (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705). A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. She kept him company, provided humor, and constant love throughout the years, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, when she wasn't allowed into the assisted living community where Chuck lived, she would spend all day on the 2-way video device, reading, watching tv, and providing companionship during a very confusing time.
