She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Schultz and Anita Schultz (Dunow); her husband Ross J. Garland; her daughter Mary Garland; her siblings, Robert Schultz, Bonnie Rowe and Judy Casillas; and her granddaughter Dawn.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Terry Sr. (Tasha), James Terry (Anndrea) of John, Terry Jr., Jason Terry, Ross Garland Jr. and Aaron Garland; and her grandchildren, Colton, Tylor, Lexi, Hailey, Christopher Jr., Michelle, Skylar, Kennedy, Tyler, Arthur, Jameson, Corey, Gerrad, Jamie, Arianna and Mohammad "Ayan". She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and other extended family.
