He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szczech and Constance Szczech (Brożyna); and his siblings, Edward Szczech (Michelle) and Stephanie Stone (Tookie). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Szczech (Christopherson); his son Alexander Szczech (Jeannine); and his brothers, Douglas Szczech, James Szczech (Barbara) and John Szczech (Dianna). He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
