He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Alt and Alyene Alt (Johnson); his brother Dennis Alt; his parents-in-law, Richard and Marie Churchill; and his brother-in-law John Churchill.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alt; his sisters, Gloria Newton (Ardell) and Diane Hanson (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Churchill (Linda) and Carol Georgeson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
