He was predeceased by: his parents, George Snowden and Eva Snowden (Nommensen); his wife Marie L. Schleis; his sister Florence Busse; and his daughter-in-law Robin Snowden (Jon).
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim, Eva Niquette and Alice Hartlaub; and his children, Gail, Annette Canfield, Terese, Mark and Jon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Cress Center (6021 University Ave, Madison, WI 53705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cress Center (6021 University Ave, Madison, WI 53705).
In 1966 Terry joined the Northern Nigeria Teacher Education Project, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin, the Ford Foundation, and USAID, to improve teacher-training in the burgeoning West African country.
