He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Gabelman and Alvina Gabelman (Feddersen); his wife Alberta; and his siblings, Lois Hegstrom Hoesch, Glendoris Caauwe, Erma Peterson, Deed and Homer Gabelman. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
