With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Chaplin of Madison, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Chaplin and Katharine Chaplin (McLaughlin); and his daughters, Kathy and Kerry. He is survived by: his partner Gail Bergman; his daughter Sara Scherr (Rick); his grandchildren, Paul, Adam and Hannah; and his siblings, Camille Secola, Susan Zuelke and Bill. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
