He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Marie Dyhr (Cigelske); his parents, Estella Dyhr and William J Dyhr Sr. of Madison; and his parents-in-law, Edith and Carl Cigelske of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin..
He is survived by: his children, Susan Dyhr (Jeff Richgels) of Oregon, Wisconsin, William C. Dyhr (Kirston Buczak-Dyhr) of Hartland, Wisconsin and Amy Carlin (Daniel Carlin) of Kennesaw, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alexander Carlin, Nicholas Carlin, Elizabeth Carlin, Estella Dyhr and William K. Dyhr; his brothers, Tom Dyhr (Nena Dyhr) of Madison and Doug Dyhr (Candy Dyhr) of Janesville, Wisconsin; and his pets, Bella, Hazel and Lucky.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Madison (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cress Funeral Home (3610 Speedway Rd, Madison, WI 53705).
