With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Kroner Mattison (Madison, Wisconsin), born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Mattison and Dorothy Mattison (Kroner); and his siblings, Bob and Dolly. He is survived by: his wife Mauretta; his children, Lynn Raley (Paul) and Bill Mattison (Kelly); his grandchildren, Matthew Raley, Andrea Kohler (Alex), Will and Abigail Mattison; his great grandchildren, Paul and Millie Belle Kohler; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ty and A. J. Kohler; and his sister Donna Liddle.
From that beginning he fell in love with the circus, constructing his first model circus at the age of 12 which he displayed on street corners to raise money for charity.
