He is survived by: his wife Rose Cerny; his children, Dr. Mark (Karen) of Santa Rosa, David (Deborah) of Louisville, Michael (Petra) of Bullhead City, Kathryn, Ann and Eileen Shebesta (Mark) of Madison; his grandchildren, Melissa, Christine, Stephen, Catherine, Carolyn, Karissa, Kelsey, Katrina, Alexander, Ryan and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Jasmine, Nicholas, Aurelia, Ozzy, Jeremy, Conrad, Casey, Chandler, Lincoln and Avah; his great great grandchild Lila; and his stepchildren, Debbie Simpson (Alan Paulson) of Green Bay, Dennis Cerny (Felicia) of Winston-Salem, Suzi Westby (late Steve) of Atlanta, Diane Segal (Jules) of Scottsdale, Joanne Kennedy (Robert) of Janesville, Kathy Leeder (David) of Madison and Timothy Cerny (Lori Shiefelbein) of Lake Tomahawk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to Our Lady Queen of Peace School (Madison) or Agrace Hospice Care.
