She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ploeckelman and JoAnn Ploeckelman (Koch); and her brother Paul Ploeckelman. She is survived by: her husband Marc Kakuk; her daughter Kelly Holt (Steven) of Manitowoc; and her grandchildren, Cameran, Zack, Sarah, Tiffany, Kimberly, Katherine, Phillip Ploeckelman (Melissa) of Fort Worth, Patrick Cavanaugh of Biloxi and Mary Ploeckelman of Arlington. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
