He is survived by: his children, Nancy Butterfield (Matthew), Jonathan Carstens and Karen Kratz (David); his grandchildren, Hallie, Claire, Cole, Silas, Marcellas, Julian and Aiden Butterfield; his sisters, Diane Kortens (Steve) and Caroline Fischer (Jerry); his brother-in-law Robert Eberhardt (Patricia); his in-laws, Harry and Elaine Eberhardt; Bob Eberhardt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (916 Pine St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2221 Michigan Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
