She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Meineke and Ruth Meineke (Stueck); her husband Allan Shambeau of John's Lutheran Church; her parents-in-law, Walter and Helma Shambeau; her brother Richard Meineke; her great grandchild Mila Long; and her siblings-in-law, Russell Shambeau (Catherine), Glenn Shambeau (Beverly), Paul Kohlmeier and Wally Guetschow.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Rahmlow (Bill), Lee Shambeau (Marion), Larry Shambeau (Elise) and Julie Nass (Peter); her grandchildren, Dawn Creasy (Paul), Beth Neuser (Scott), Sara Backhaus (Eric), Gareth Shambeau (Jenna), Simon Shambeau (Kelsey), Michelle Shambeau-Hernandez (Humberto), Marc Shambeau (Kate), Andrea Jost (Joseph), Mara Morgan (Tyler), Keren Long (Thomas), Leah Nass and Hannah Newell (Benjamin); and her sisters-in-law, Helen Kohlmeier and Ruth Guetschow. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
