She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottmar Mahnke and Esther Weyer Mahnke (William Richter); her husband William I. Richter; and her sons, Daniel and David Kadow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Smith (Jeff) of Anchorage, AK, Denise Spatt (Jim), Debra Smith and Doreen Gabriel (Tony); her grandchildren, Tabitha Kadow, Calvin and Gavin Smith; her siblings, Diane Marquardt (John) of Anchorage, AK and Ralph Mahnke (Rose Ann); and her close friend Steven MacDonald. She is also survived by three great grandsons.
