He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kowitz and Clara Kowitz (Lueck); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Bonabel Scott; his brother Norman Kowitz (Amy); his sister-in-law Marilee Luchsinger; and his granddaughters, Amelia Grace and Taylor Rose Kowitz.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona F. Scott; his sons, Kent (Julie), Jeffery (Melissa), Kevin (Lori) and Craig (Rose Ann); his grandchildren, Kirsten George (Casey), Katelyn Bolte (Ryan), Kelsey Nuteson (Devon), Andrew Kowitz (Casey), Tanner Kowitz, Peter Kowitz, Matthew Kowitz, Rachel Kowitz, Mary Kowitz and Hope Kowitz; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Brynlee, Colette Bolte, Raelynn, Kheiron George, Cooper and Sadie Kowitz; his brother Lyle Kowitz (Patsy) of Camden, MI; and his brother-in-law Gayle Luchsinger of Fort Myers, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1712 Menasha Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Byron's name.
