As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Manz and Nelda Rehm Manz; her husband Alan D. Maurer; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her children, David Maurer (Sue), Dennis Maurer (Diana) and Nancy Maurer; and her brother Ralph. She is also survived by two grandchildren; 1 step grandchild and 4 great grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
