She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Salta and Anna Salta Sr. (Decker); her husband Robert P. Nichols; her granddaughter Kirsten Vanderscheuren; and her siblings, Pauly Salta, Romy Salta (Darlene), Edward Salta Jr. (Margie), Robert Salta and Violet Robinson.
She is survived by: her sister Manitowoc (Kamogawa); her great grandchildren, Robert Nichols Jr. (Jill) and William Nichols (Judy); her sister-in-law Marilyn Salta; and also, Katelyn Nichols, Rachel Lindgren (Jason), David Nichols, Susan Nichols-Petska (Paul) of Bellingham, WA, Samuel Petska (McKenzie), Laura Howard (Billy), Karen Nichols, Christy Nyemeck (Vianney), Adam Juul (Sara), Lynn Eaton (Tom), Sara Allen (Daniel), Amanda Ksenidi (Ilya), Stacy Eaton, Barbara Nichols, Harry Marquardt (Christie), Robert Marquardt, Samantha Marquardt, Tina Nichols (Tim Browne), Emily LeGreve (Gavin) and Lydia Fessenbecker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Dorothy's name to Canine Companions.
