With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Ziarnik of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester M. Ziarnik and Violet Rose Ziarnik (Gerl); his sister Mary Jo Ziarnik; his grandparents, Wenzel Ziarnik, Joseph and Mary Gerl (Hupf); his aunts, Tillie Armbruster and Dorothy Svacina (Louis "Buddy"); his uncle Floyd Armbruster; his cousins, Leon Armbruster (Gail), Faye Peck (Svacina) and Terry Svacina; his great-aunt Ida; and his great-uncle George Burkhart.
He is survived by: his friend Tom Nichols; his sister Michele Ziarnik; his cousins, Johanna Kubicek (John), Steve Peck and Todd Svacina; his granddaughter Mallorie Tadych; Samantha.
