With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elton F. Steinbrecker of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Steinbrecker and Caroline Steinbrecker (Blimel); his sister-in-law Shirley Shroeder of Manitowoc; his in-laws, Oscar and Rose Bednarz; his son Jarey Steinbrecker; his brother Allan Steinbrecker; his siblings-in-law, Clyde, Janet Lock, Edward Schroeder, David and Barb Seese; his nephew Daniel Lock; and his niece Stacey Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Steinbrecker (Bednarz); his children, Jodi DuPont (Dale) of Manitowoc, Jeff Steinbrecker of Green Bay and Jennifer Ledvina of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Samantha Deeley-Burke (Patrick) of Manitowoc, Travis of Manitowoc, Emily Dupont of Manitowoc, Jake Dupont of Manitowoc, Emma Wangelin (Kyle) of Kaukauna, WI and Nathan Steinbrecker of Oshkosh, WI; his great grandchildren, Ireland Rose Burke, Vienna LaRae Burke and Chase Elton Dupont; and his sister Ollie Millonzi of Austin, TX.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (1416 Grand Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2221 Michigan Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:20 PM at the same location.
